A warm welcome to the KISI House!

This spacious courtyard is the clubhouse of KISI – God’s Singing Kids. Many children and young people spend their days off here singing, dancing, celebrating, playing and praying together. KISI is a renewal movement within the Catholic Church – which is why the clubhouse is also particularly well-suited as accommodation for pilgrims on their journeys. Naturally, there’s plenty going on here, especially at weekends – children’s laughter, joyful songs and even deep conversations fill the house. Accommodation is available in large dormitories.
Guests are also very welcome to join in communal prayer or attend church services.

Egli Christmas nativity scene at the KISI House

Every Advent, Andrea Uebel sets up a beautiful, moving Egli nativity scene in the KISI House. Egli figures are handcrafted aids for depicting biblical stories. They have no faces, so as not to fix their expressions. Emotions and intentions are conveyed through body language.
Andrea Uebel has crafted many of the figures herself with great skill and insight. Through diligent research, she has sought to incorporate a wealth of knowledge about life in the time of Jesus into her landscape, the houses and every detail. Definitely worth a look!

Now also featuring an Egli Easter nativity scene (on display during Lent until Easter)

Andrea Uebel has an incredible talent for depicting the biblical Easter narratives with her Egli figures. On display are not only the cross and the women at Jesus’ tomb, but also a scene of the Last Supper, the trial before Pontius Pilate and the Garden of Gethsemane. Anyone who can spare the time to linger in front of it will keep discovering new, lovingly crafted details.
