A special centerpiece and landmark of Rustorf is the late Gothic hall church, which is consecrated to the Mother of God.
According to historical records, the church was probably a branch church of Schwanenstadt as early as 1348. The chapel and presbytery date from this period. The central nave dates from the 15th century. The side aisles, the gallery and the sacristy have three-bay net ribs. The sacristy gate and the north gate are Gothic.
According to statements from experts in art circles, St. Mary's Church is one of the most architecturally interesting in the country.
