Music School Steinerkirchen

In 2003 a wing of the school complex was rebuilt. There are now 5 classrooms, a ballet hall and a teacher's room available for the music school. The new gym is also used for events.

Music schools are centers of artistic and musical education. The focus of the training is on music and the related arts.

Music schools are also places of cultural encounter for children and young people and can be cultural educational spaces for adults in line with social developments. Music schools offer all strata of the population the possibility of in-depth musical education and thus fulfill the mandate to achieve a broad impact.

With innovative models of promoting the gifted, the music schools prepare particularly gifted people for attending higher-level teaching institutions. This lays the foundation for the next generation of professionals. The music school should give impulses for cultural life in the respective community and work closely with other cultural institutions.
