The model farm

A place of togetherness

Situated in the picturesque Hausruckviertel, Hütthaler's model farm offers 250 animals a species-appropriate home. These include pigs, sheep, calves, highland cattle & Angus cattle with their calves & chickens.

Animal welfare according to farm culture criteria is the top priority at Musterhof. What does that mean? The best feed, more than twice as much space as required by law and respectful treatment of the animals. Only high standards and the Hütthaler family's commitment to animal husbandry can guarantee and ensure sustainable quality.

In addition to rearing the animals, the model farm is also a place for cosy and down-to-earth get-togethers. The premises are just as popular for seminars as they are for festive occasions. But why not see for yourself!

About us

The Hofkultur Musterhof - that's us: Philipp & Daniela Hütthaler with son Anton & daughter Rosa. The Musterhof is our workplace, our favourite project and our home. For more than six years we have been fully committed farmers and responsible for 250 animals. Their welfare is very important to us. That is why the Musterhof stands for high standards in animal husbandry and is the living philosophy of farm culture.

We believe that first-class quality is always linked to first-class treatment of the animals. In detail, this means that we offer the animals more space and more freedom than required by law. We also spend a large part of our time providing the animals with the best possible care. This includes observing them closely and catering to their individual needs. In addition, they are only fed with natural feed from Austria and reared in a stress-free environment.

Our farm shop

Enjoyment with a clear conscience tastes better! That's why we offer numerous farm specialities and delicacies from the region in our farm shop to take away or to taste straight away.

Our products

Fresh meat and sausage products from our Duroc pigs, Highland cattle, veal and sheep are available directly from our model farm. There are also eggs from our Sulmtal hens and vegetables from our 16 raised beds on the farm. We also produce jams, juices, honey and preserves.
