Drogerie Gräfinger

The Gräfinger chemist’s was founded on 10 August 1938 by Eleonore and Matthias Gräfinger under the name ‘Traunstein Drogerie’ in Laakirchen. Branches were opened in Hallstatt and later in Stadl Paura, which were run by their daughter Ilse for 13 years. In 1972, Ilse Nitsche also took over her parents’ business in Laakirchen and continued to run it with great expertise and dedication. Particular emphasis was placed on the training of apprentices and the ongoing professional development of the core staff.

The shop is divided into three main sections The chemist’s range includes health food products, tea, cosmetics, chemicals, plant protection products, exclusive swimwear, leather goods and high-quality gift items for every occasion.

In the second half of the shop, you’ll find a selection of toys for babies right through to teenagers, as well as a wide range of children’s and young adult books from all publishers, covering ages 0–15. Gift books for all occasions (birthdays, christenings, weddings, first communions…), calendars and paperbacks for adults round off the range. The third section is dedicated to stationery, office supplies and school materials. From starter school bags and school rucksacks to pens, exercise books, photocopying paper, art paper, tickets, cards, delivery note books and much more, you’ll find everything you need for school and the office here.
