TraunXperience takes you right into the green heart of the Traun by rafting boat, kayak, canoe or SUP. 12 kilometers of river through the European Natura 2000 bird sanctuary - between alluvial forests, birdsong and sparkling water, you will not only find adventure, but also plenty of peace and quiet.

Traunschlucht gorge adventure
Paddle through steep rock faces, past dense riparian forests and discover the biodiversity of the Natura 2000 protected area. Choose between a half-day tour (8 km, approx. 2-3 hours) and a day tour (12 km, approx. 4-5 hours). With a bit of luck, you might even see a dazzling kingfisher crossing your path!

Families welcome
Child-friendly, close to nature and guaranteed without Wi-Fi - but with lots of "Wow, look!". Children from approx. 8 years accompanied by an adult. Searching for crabs, watching kingfishers, mastering small current passages - this is how family outings work in 2026.
