What is the "Kochinsel"?

Since December, the cooking and barbecue school has been the new centre for all amateur and professional chefs who are passionate about cooking. Here, gourmets can test all products from the barbecue and gourmet shop under professional guidance. Whether it's a gas or charcoal barbecue, a pellet smoker or a plancha, products from the gourmet corner are also welcome to be tested.

Who runs the barbecue and cooking courses?

No, it's not just one chef. Kochinsel offers a wonderful selection of chefs, barbecue masters and the corresponding product suppliers. The perfect wine accompaniment to the barbecue menu or meat aged for 140 days by the meat sommelier round off the offer.

What courses can I book at the "Kochinsel"?

Kochinsel offers cooking and barbecue courses, barista courses, tastings, Thermomix courses and much more. Here, you can barbecue on different appliances and try out all the different brands. Or if you already have a barbecue and would like to get to know ‘your’ barbecue better, there are also courses tailored to the brand of your barbecue, e.g. on the pellet smoker or the plancha, the Weber or Napoleon barbecue. You can also try out the many great products from the gourmet corner, including cutting knives, wooden chopping boards, pans and much more.
