Among Fischlham´s most remarkable possessions is the outstanding chancel area, the so-called "Fischerkanzel", in the Gothic parish church. There are only six well-preserved chancels of the same kind in all Austria. Fischlham is also a true paradise for culture fans: lovely Bernau moated castle ranks among the highlights!

by train:
Nearest Intercity/Railjet stop Wels Hbf (ÖBB and Westbahn, line 101) and from the Passauerbahn (line 150) coming from Passau, change to the regional trains in the direction of Attnang-Puchheim to Lambach station. Change to the ‘Vorchdorfer Bahn’ (line 160) from Stern & Hafferl to Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting station and take the Salzkammergut Shuttle to Almspitz.
By bus:

OÖVV bus route 503 (Sattledt -) Steinerkirchen/Traun - Fischlham - Lambach
by bike:
Coming from Wels or Linz on the R 4 Traunradweg or R6 Römerradweg, or from Gmunden R 4 Traunradweg or from Passau via Vöcklabruck and Schwanenstadt on the R 6 Römerradweg to Lambach or Edt bei Lambach over the Traun bridge at Almspitz and following the road to Fischlham.

Take the B1 federal motorway to Lambach - crossroads in Edt bei Lambach in the direction of Steinerkirchen an der Traun - to Fischlham
