All 39 rooms & suites feature breathtaking lake views and balconies, minibars, coffee machines, as well as beach bags, backpacks, and yoga mats for your stay. The seven lake suites with direct access to the lake are unique at Traunsee. New is the Panorama Sauna Suite. The hotel holds both the Austrian Eco Label & the EU Ecolabel.
Culinary Delights
In the Bootshaus restaurant, the multiple award-winning chef Lukas Nagl (among others, Gault Millau Chef of the Year) and his team embody the "magic of perfectly balanced simplicity." Daily, the team draws from a rich basket of ingredients from the lake and regional suppliers. In summer, dining extends to two lake terraces. Awarded 1 Michelin star & 1 green Michelin star, 4 Gault Millau toques, and rated 100 points in Falstaff, leading in Upper Austria. Hotel guests can enjoy an excellent gourmet board upon request – prepared using the same award-winning cuisine. The perfect wine accompaniment is provided by Katharina Gnigler, Gault Millau Sommelier of the Year 2025. Experience culinary delights up close with the Culinary Activities: "Fisherman and the Chef," "Smoked Fish" at the lakeside harbor, "How to Negroni," or at the "Social Wine Club."

Guests also relax at the Panorama Lake Spa with views of the lake: saunas & steam baths, relaxation areas, and direct access to the private bathing jetty, as well as beauty and cosmetic treatments & massages. The exclusive Panorama Suite Traunstein impresses with its openness, modern design and long-distance windows down to the ground. On the top 6th floor of the house, accessible via a few steps, the view from the roof terrace with infinity balcony is breathtaking. The spacious living and sleeping area with wooden floor consists of 2 rooms, separable by a lockable sliding door. A box-spring double bed in each room ensures a restful night's sleep. From the free-standing bathtub in the main living room (55m²) you enjoy a direct lake view. In the smaller room (30m²) there is a shower. Both rooms have their own WC.
