On the Alpine hike with the guided nature tour (in german language) on the Feuerkogel you get to discover the interesting flora, the geological make-up of the Höllengebirge  mountain range and much more. There is also interesting details about the cable car and the history of the Feuerkogel, which those interested can learn about completely free of charge.

The tour is free; prices for a ride on the Feuerkogel cable car can be found at https://www.feuerkogel.info/en/tickets-offers. The hike through the alpine pastures with the nature expedition takes approximately 2.5 hours. Those who wish can also hike to one of the viewing platforms on the Feuerkogel plateau afterward and enjoy the beautiful mountain and lake landscape of the Salzkammergut.Registration is not required to participate.

Date: every Wednesday from 1st July to 9th September 2026.

Tip: Children's mountain action
From 8th July till 2nd September 2026 every child till 15 years will be transported free with the cable car, if adult/parents part is with her (not for children's groups)
