How to get to the Nostalgia Tram on Liebstatt Sunday to Gmunden in the Traunsee-Almtal region:

We recommend you travel by public transport!

by train: via Attnang-Puchheim station to Gmunden station.Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee.

From Vorchdorf with the Traunseetram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the stop Gmunden Rathausplatz, Gmunden Bahnhof or Gmunden Seebahnhof.

by bus: OÖVV bus line 507 from Laakirchen or Altünster/Ebensee to Gmunden, stop Gmunden Bahnhof, from there take the Traunseetram to the city center

by bike: The two stops Gmunden Bahnhof or Gmunden Seebahnhof are also very easy to reach by bike.
The Traunvierteltour leads directly past Gmunden Seebahnhof station, the R4 Traunradweg is also quickly accessible at the Traunbrücke bridge and R 2 Salzkammergutradweg leads about 500 meters from Gmunden station.

By car:
Westautobahn A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A1 - exit A1 Laakirchen West - via Laakirchen to Gmunden - Gmunden Ost - P & R facility Engelhof, continue with the Traunseetram
Westautobahn A1: Munich - Salzburg - Exit A1 Regau - to Gmunden - Gmunden Ost - P & R facility Engelhof, continue with the Traunseetram

Please note that it is NOT POSSIBLE to drive through the center from 10.00 - 16.00!

Parking facilities in Gmunden:
We recommend using the Engelhof P & R facility or the parking lot at the train station. Continue with the Traunseetram to the stop Gmunden Rathausplatz or Gmunden Seebahnhof
