 Woutl Musi Every musician needs a Tanzlmusi. Because this law does not exclude horn players, the Woutl Musi was founded in 2020. With three melody instruments, harp, Styrian harmonica and tuba, the instrumentation is similar to the usual Tanzlmusi, but with us Woutls the melody is played by a flugelhorn and two Woutl horns. These are specially made horns that look like the bass trumpet, but produce their own round and dark sound. As these instruments never cease to amaze and the Styrian influence of two of our members cannot be denied, the local expression “Woutl!” (which means “amazement”, “madness” in Styrian) has established itself as a symbol of our music.
