A storytelling evening for adults
with Christa Gabriela Schmollgruber (A) and Sabina Haslinger (A) and musical accompaniment

In the Bartlhaus Pettenbach Museum of Writing & Local History, the storytelling evening for adults invites you to enjoy fairy-tale encounters: a group of people find a home in a foreign land, a knight emerges from a book, a fairy desires a man's soul and an old woman deals with death in a very special way.
This evening full of fairy tales from ancient times is framed by magical music.

"Fantasy for happiness"

Fairy tales and legends are shining stars in the sky of human imagination.
They tell of heroes and heroines who take action and tackle problems with determination. Especially in a time characterized by uncertainty, conflict and rapid change, they provide inner peace, clarity and confidence.

When you listen to a fairy tale, you enter a space where the impossible becomes possible: Dragons are defeated, mysterious gates open, new paths unexpectedly appear.
Although these stories depict fantastic worlds, it becomes clear just by listening to them how much this other world is interwoven with our everyday lives. A source of creative solutions bubbles up here.

These stories invite us to look at the world with new eyes and to discover the beginning of a new path in every crisis. In this way, imagination nourishes happiness and creates a new reality.
