THE 4 GRACES FEAT. PETRA FORMAN / Women Artists in Contemporary Austrian Art

The 4 Grazien is a collective of female artists founded in 2002 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. The core members are Mela Diamant, Susanna
Schwarz, and G. Maria Wetter; the fourth spot is intentionally left open for project-based collaborations. As a living feminist practice, the collective
rely on solidarity, exchange, and collaborative working processes. Drawing on the mythological Graces, the artists examine culturally
notions of femininity and their lingering influence on contemporary role models.

Petra Forman previously exhibited her figurative paintings under the title “Female Structures” at Seegrün in the spring of 2026
and holds the fourth position in the collective for this exhibition.
