Presentation of the video performance “Fieber” and the video documentary “1. Hallstätterseeumschüttung”

In an exhibition titled “Heisszeit,” the Kunstforum Salzkammergut addresses
a topic that is currently of immediate concern to us all. Now that the originally
“Joy and Color” has been canceled in September,
artists at DIE GALERIE in Gmunden are exploring heat waves, climate change, and the
various impacts of current environmental developments.



The focus is on both external events—such as wildfires, drought, or
other climate-related disasters—as well as their causes and the personal,
social, and emotional experience of these situations, and the creative
engagement. We look forward to seeing a variety of artistic
approaches and perspectives.



On Thursday, September 3, the exhibition “Heisszeit” opens with a soft
opening at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, September 12, the Kunstforum Salzkammergut
invites you to a midissage at 10:30 a.m., where Deputy Mayor DI Dr. Ulrike Feichtinger will
the exhibition and the topic.



On display are works by Kunstforum members Elza Grimm, Siegfried Holzbauer, Markus
Moser, Inge Muhr, Angelika O]enhauser, Marlene Schroeder, Gertraude Stüger, Elisa
Treml, Ulrike Wintersteiger, and Michael Wittig. Additionally, the
the video performance “Fieber” will be presented once again—a collaboration between the organizations
Kulturvision Salzkammergut and KAW Ebensee, as well as a video documentation of the 1st
Hallstätterseeumschüttung, a project by Kulturvision Salzkammergut.
