The LONGFIELD GOSPEL SINGERS on tour

A rousing choir, a perfectly synchronized band, and outstanding soloists perform unique gospel songs and spirituals with joy and enthusiasm. Every concert is an experience that captivates the audience and encourages them to sing along. On September 18, the ensemble will perform at the Stadtpfarrkirche in Gmunden.

This choir is led by Dr. Georg WEILGUNY
Composer, singer, conductor, and master of ceremonies

This charismatic musician is the founder and director of the “Longfield Gospel” choirs in Vienna. “Longfield Gospel” is one of Europe’s best-known gospel choirs. Among his many compositions, Georg Weilguny wrote his own gospel mass, which premiered at St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna and has also been performed in other churches.

The choir has performed in several countries, including Sweden, Denmark, Poland, and Germany—where it has appeared multiple times at the International Church Congress—as well as in the United States. In Vienna, the Longfield Gospel Singers have performed at venues including the Stadthalle, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Musikverein, the Danube Island Festival, and on the TV show “Licht ins Dunkel.”
