The film follows a 12-member all-female sailing crew on their journey to the “Aegean 600” offshore regatta—and, above all, tells a story of solidarity, self-confidence, and female strength in an environment that remains heavily male-dominated. The focus is on personal perspectives, leadership within an all-female team, and the question of how women redefine their own limits. The documentary shows what happens when team spirit is stronger than any cliché. In July 2025, the Aqua Nomis, with an all-female crew, competed in one of the most challenging offshore regattas in the Mediterranean—the Aegean600. The course spans 600 nautical miles across the Aegean Sea, which is known for its unpredictable weather and complex navigational conditions. The crew is accompanied by a film crew documenting their participation. The film aims to showcase the fascination of sailing as well as the unique challenges of such a regatta. The documentary seeks to inspire people to courageously forge their own path.
