A Galician village remains traumatized following the deaths of several fishermen. Two years later, the small fishing village of A Guarda on the Galician coast is trying to find its footing again. When the village community decides to revive its traditional music ensemble, 18-year-old Andrea takes the lead—in memory of her father, who lost his life in the disaster. With courage and determination, she breathes new life into the rehearsals for the regional competition, blending familiar instruments with contemporary hits and gradually rekindling the people’s zest for life and optimism. But the road to recovery is not an easy one: The gaps left by the tragedy are also palpable within the ensemble, and amid hope, doubt, and grief, the community’s harmony is repeatedly thrown into turmoil.
