Bitteres Fest - Drama

As part of the official selection for the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, Pedro Almodóvar’s *BITTERES FEST* celebrated its world premiere in the “Competition” section at the 79th Cannes International Film Festival.

Two time periods and two perspectives intertwine to create a multi-layered interplay between reality and fiction: After her mother’s death, Elsa, a successful commercial director, throws herself into her work without allowing herself time to grieve. In a different time period in the same city, the successful author and director Raúl Durán—who is battling a long creative slump—is working on his new book—and is writing the very story that chronicles Elsa’s life.
