At a length of 380 kilometers, the Austrian Romantic Road connects the most beautiful landscapes of Austria, marvelous sea and mountain panoramas and numerous places worth seeing, like a string of pearls between Salzburg and Vienna.
The Austrian Romantic Road enables cultural and culinary travel between Salzburg and Vienna. The track offers an overwhelming abundance of big and small attractions. UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the Baroque and Festival City of Salzburg, Hallstatt or the pile dwellings on Lake Mondsee, are on the way as well as the unique cities of the summer resort idyll Salzkammergut.
Throughout the year, folklore is lived in these regions, so guests can take colorful impressions at various events. Many cultural highlights are on the way - such as the Kremsmünster and Admont Abbey or the Renaissance castle Schallaburg and the pilgrimage Mariazell.
