Train replacement service for Salzkammergutbahn Line 170 between Attnang-Puchheim and Bad Ischl by bus

Dear guests and visitors to the Salzkammergut!

Due to engineering works between Attnang-Puchheim and Bad Ischl stations, rail services on this route are currently limited from the 11.07.– 02.08.2026.

We have arranged a rail replacement bus service for you. The buses are marked with the words “Schienenersatzverkehr”.

Please note: Ticket sales on the buses are limited. We therefore ask you to purchase your ticket online at oebb.at, via

the ÖBB app, the OÖVV app, at an ÖBB ticket machine or at an ÖBB ticket counter before you travel.

 

Important notice: Bicycles cannot be taken on the rail replacement service buses!

We ask passengers with reduced mobility to contact ÖBB Customer Service on 05-1717-5 before travelling.

The special timetable below applies during the construction work. Connections cannot be guaranteed.

Train replacement service for the Almtalbahn Line 153 between Wels and Grünau im Almtal stations

Due to engineering works between Wels and Grünau im Almtal stations, the line is closed to rail traffic from 11.07.– 28.08.2026.

We have arranged a rail replacement bus service for you. The buses are marked with the words “Schienenersatzverkehr”.
