The Sieberer family welcomes you to Haus Steinwänd.
Surrounded by meadows and orchards, you will find our house near the village center of Grünau im Almtal. The lovingly designed rooms in rustic style and the wonderful views of the dreamy landscape invite you to linger. Another real highlight is the old wash house, which is located in the garden directly on the Sackbach and is reminiscent of times gone by.
Haus Steinwänd is in a very quiet location, but the train station, the restaurants the Almwirtinnen and the romantic hotel as well as two grocery stores can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.
The whole family will find peace and relaxation in every season of the year on our house in the midst of a beautiful mountain landscape.
While children let off steam on the playground with a swing in summer, parents can listen to the rush of the brook in the garden under the walnut tree. Furthermore, numerous running and hiking trails lead right past the farm. The popular hiking trail "Genuss am Almfluss" is only a few steps away from us. There is an extensive program for children and adults in the village. The public outdoor adventure pool, the tennis court and the rope course at the Alm river ensure great fun for young and old.
In winter you can walk to the nearby trails in Grünau im Almtal. The bus stop for the ski bus, which takes you comfortably to the Kasberg family ski area, is also in the immediate vicinity. Those who prefer it quieter can enjoy a wonderful winter hike on the frozen Almsee.
In three apartments and four rooms, all guests from single travelers to couples and friends to families with children are warmly welcome. Accommodation can be booked with or without breakfast as required. On request you can get cots and you can use a washing machine.

Vienna - Linz: A1 to Voralpenkreuz - A9 Phyrn motorway - exit Ried im Traunkreis - direction Almtal
Salzburg: A1 exit Regau via Gmunden and Scharnstein to Grünau
Passau: A8 Wels Nord towards Graz to Voitsdorf then towards Almtal
